Terms of Service

Grinditforus is a local flour mill and spice shop operated by Arvani, in Maheshtala, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. By placing an order on grinditforus.in you agree to what is set out below.

• You need an account to order, so that we have a name, phone number and address to deliver to.
• Everything is ground to order. You choose the quantity and the preparation, and the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
• An order is confirmed when it appears in your orders list. We may still need to call you about it — if something is out of stock or the address is unclear, the phone call is how that gets sorted.
• You can place up to 5 orders per day. If you need more than that, call the shop and we will arrange it.

• Delivery is ₹39, and free on orders of ₹500 or more of goods.
• Your first order gets ₹25 off at ₹500 of goods, or ₹50 off at ₹1,000.
• One discount per order. Thresholds are counted on the goods in your basket, before delivery is added.
• Prices can change, but never on an order you have already placed — what you were charged at checkout is what stands.

We deliver locally only, in and around Maheshtala. You pick a delivery date at checkout. We aim for that day and will call you if anything gets in the way — someone needs to be there to receive the order and pay for it.

Cash on delivery only. There is no advance payment, no online payment and no card machine. You pay the person who hands you the order.

This is the part worth reading before you order, so here it is plainly:

• You can cancel any time before it is handed over, for any reason and at no cost. Call the shop or message us.
• Check the goods at the door, before you pay. We speak with you at delivery precisely so that you can look at what you are buying first. If it is not right, do not accept it — refuse it there and pay nothing.
• Once you have checked the order and paid for it, it is not returnable. Flour and spices are ground fresh for you and cannot be re-sold, and you have already had the chance to inspect them.

If something is genuinely wrong with an order after you have paid, call us anyway. This is a local shop and we would rather hear about it than not.

Keep your delivery details accurate — a wrong address or phone number is the usual reason a delivery fails. Please do not use the shop or its messaging to send anything unlawful or abusive. We may decline or cancel orders, or close an account, where an order is clearly not genuine.

We try to keep the site working and the stock list honest, but we cannot promise the site is available at every moment, and an item can run out between your order and our grinding it. If that happens we will call you rather than substitute something you did not ask for.

If these terms change, this page changes with them and the date at the top is updated. The terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when you placed it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall to the courts of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
